
Susumu TSUBAKI
Tsubaki is the Representative Director of Pan Asia
Partners. Prior to founding PAP, Tsubaki served CEO/President at Index
Holdings ('06-'07), Japan's largest mobile and contents conglomerate
(Code: 4838). Before joining Index HD, Tsubaki was a Partner and Managing
Director at Boston Consulting Group (BCG Tokyo and San Francisco office),
where he developed his vast professional skills and network throughout
Pan-Pacific region ('91-'06). At BCG, Tsubaki worked closely to
clients in a wide range of industries with special emphasis on high-tech,
telecommunications, IT, entertainments contents and consumer goods.
Tsubaki served several board positions at listed/unlisted companies
including TAKARATOMY(Japan's 2nd largest toy company Code:7867), ATRAS
corporation (Code:7866), NET INDEX (Code:6634), TATSUNOKO Production,
Data Stadium, etc. Tsubaki holds B.S. degree in molecular biology
from The University of Tokyo.
Naohide ARAI
Arai is a Managing Director of Pan Asia Partners Co., Ltd. Tokyo. Prior to co-founding PAP Tokyo, Arai served from 2005 to2008 as a board of director at IMJ Corporation (Code:4305) in a variety of senior responsibilities including Managing Director for Strategy. From 1986 to 2004, Arai served several senior positions at RECRUIT Co., Ltd. (#1 ad media group in Japan). Arai gained extensive experience in new business development in the Internet, multimedia, and personal finance industries.
Arai received his B.S. degree in engineering from Tohoku University in Sendai.
Takaaki TSUBAKI
Tsubaki is a Managing Director of Pan Asia Partners Co., Ltd. Tokyo. Prior to co-founding PAP, Tsubaki served as an executive venture capitalist at Dream Incubator Inc. (Code:4310), being recognized as an expert in technology/Internet/retail business incubation and investment ('04-'08). Tsubaki's professional career rooted in dense hands-on experience at his family business, Data Research Institute, Inc., where he successfully turnaround its business as the youngest top management ('93-'02). Tsubaki is also known as an expert IT-engineer / world-known lecturer in Information Resource Management field. Tsubaki holds B.A. and M.A. degree (in Education) from The University of Tokyo, and an M.B.A. from University of Pennsylvania (Wharton Class of 2004).
Hideya TANAKA
Tanaka is a Managing Director of Pan Asia Partners Co., Ltd. Tokyo. Prior to co-founding PAP, Tanaka served as an expert of China business development at RECRUIT Co. Ltd., (#1 ad media group in Japan), being engaged in ad media businesses (Real Estate, Wedding, Restaurant), and HR business. Tanaka spend his last six years developing three profitable businesses (w/ 300+ employee) at three mega cities in China where he tested and conquest vast management problems associated with China business development ranging from regulatory, strategy, marketing, employment, finance to legal affairs.

Hirofumi TSUCHIYA
Tsuchiya is a Managing Director of Pan Asia Partners Co., Ltd. Tokyo. Prior to co-founding PAP, Tsuchiya worked as an expert in personnel management, payroll, evaluation, recruiting and education training in HR business at Cosmos Initia Co., Ltd. (former name: Recruit Cosmos). At Cosmos Initia, Tsuchiya led major reforms in personnel system; developing one-stop service in general affairs and innovating Personnel Group management resulted dramatic improvement in service levels at annual-salary system implementation, double-track career etc. Tsuchiya was a leader in HRD field and developed & implemented original assessment tool doubling the number of recruits for Cosmos Initia and for its group companies. Tsuchiya also served as a key planner/advisor in personnel field for the company's executive management.
Tsuchiya holds B.S. degree (in Science and Engineering) from Waseda University.
Hojin GEN
Hojin Gen has nearly 10 years of experience in financial industry. He has worked such investment banks as Merill
Lynch, Salomn Smith Barney and Deutsche Securities. During his time at investment bank, he was mainly responsible for US companies to raise capital in Japan.
In 2000, utilizing his experiences and extensive knowledge in financial industry, he joined IMJ Corporation (Code:4305)as Chief Operating Officer and made the company go public
in 2001. Prior to joining Pan Asia Partners, Gen was the general manager of Shinsei Bank (Code:8303) where he was a
lead member of Shinsei Bank's Private banking Practice.
Gen earned a masters degree in business administration from The George Washington University.
Mayumi TOYOSHIMA
Mayumi Toyoshima has over 15 years of experience in new
business development. Prior to join PAP Tokyo, Toyoshima served as a
manager of consulting firm for manufacturing. From 2002 to 2007, Toyoshima
also served as an Operating Officer of developing new mail-order business
at long-established architectural wholesale company and as an Operating
Officer of new business development at Askul Corporation. Toyoshima
was a Consultant at Boston Consulting Group (BCG Tokyo office). At BCG,
Toyoshima experienced vast range of consulting as telecommunication
/ Helthcare / Mail-order business / Change Management / New business
development.(’99-’01) Toyoshima started her Carrier at Mitsui
chemicals in electronic device department as a leader of business development.(‘88-’98)
Toyoshima received her M.S. degree in Physics from Waseda University
of Tokyo.
Yorihiko KATO
Kato is a co-founding PAP, Kato served from 1992 to 2008
CEO/President of NIKKO Co., Ltd., Japan's fourth largest internet ad
agency, the business of his own entrepreneurship. Kato cultivated extensive
start-up skills and professional network through co-founding/managing
DIAL-Q NETWORK Co., Ltd ('90-'91) and RYOMA Co., Ltd ('88-'90), both
legendary campus entrepreneurships. Kato also served several board/advisory
positions at listed/unlisted ad companies including DIGIT BRAIN ('01-'02),
ORICON ('01-'03), and NEO@OGILVY ('06-'08), Japan's local JV with Ogilvy
& Mather, the US ad giant. Kato is a known Angel Investor of his
age and has extensive experience in principal investment and start-up
incubation. Kato holds B.A. degree (in Commerce) from Kansei Gakuin
University.
